KATIE TIHANYI, M.D.

Dr. Tihanyi has enjoyed her twenty-seven years in Salem taking care of women’s health and the welfare of their families. Having a private practice in family medicine in a small clinic setting has allowed for personalized care for all members of the family including the adults, adolescents, children and babies.

Her practice ranges from well child examinations and adult general exams to acute therapies for illnesses of all age groups.  She also enjoys performing minor surgical procedures involving the skin and some biopsies for diagnostic purposes.

Because of these interests, she often attends meetings on Women’s Health, general family medicine updates, and Gynecological seminars.  Although she stopped delivering babies after twenty-seven years of providing this service, she still enjoys looking after the Moms and their newborns after the delivery.
